All Handcrafted Pocket Letter

Hi and good morning everyone!

This is probably going to be a bit lengthy, so I apologize in advance.  There's just a lot to tell. =)  This is a pocket letter I did about 5 weeks ago, but I could not post it, until it was received allllllllll the way down under in Australia!!

This PL went to a very talented lady, and I just knew I needed to step it up several notches, as she makes EVERYTHING!!  Be sure to check out Kimi's blog ( Unique Scrappiness).  She has tons of inspirations, tutorials etc., and is a MUST see.

Okay, so here's the PL, and a little about some of the pockets.  I added a few close ups, so you could better see some of the pockets.  The Corset was created with my Cameo (LOVE that thing!), and I added some shabby chic crochet lace (not sure if that's what it is called).  The Trellis was super easy to make, and I used quilling paper to make the little roses.

Because of the small size, it was easier to hand stitch around the heart than use a sewing machine, and I used some stash to make the stick pin.

I didn't think I was going to be able to pull the "shaker pendent" off, but with the help of a Tim Holtz pendent blank I was able to.  I just typed out the words and used my 1" circle punch and glued it to the rim of the pendent frame.

The idea of the umbrella and gloves came from all the little pretties I see in the mini houses being made.  I used felt to make the gloves, material and wire to make the umbrella.
