Clean & Simple with Twist of Faith

Hey Everybody,

Hope everyone had a great weekend, and a wonderful "Memorial Day" for those of you in the USA.

This week at Twist of Faith, we are keeping it clean and simple, and our sponsor is Milk Coffee Stamps, who will be offering 5 images to one lucky winner.

The image I'm using is called "Girl and Music Box".  She just has the sweetest face doesn't she?  I've colored her with my Pro Markers, and the only other thing I did was did some hole punching around the frame and colored it in a bit with the pink.  The music notes, swirls, and the word Believe are all from EK Success.  I completed the sentiment with "Listen &" in my PSP program.

I do hope you'll stop by, and join in this week's challenge.  Be sure to check out the other DT member cards, and if you like them, let them know.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day and stopping by.

Twist of Faith Challenge "Ties That Bind"

Hey everybody,

Wishing all the Moms a very Happy Mother's day!  Hope you got lots of hugs and kisses from all your loved ones this past weekend.

Ties That Bind

This week we are sponsored by Meljen's Designs, who will be offering 4 images to our lucky winner.  To play along, we want you to use some twine in your creation and included a scripture, uplifting verse, or positive quote/words.

I had a hard time getting my mojo in gear this week, and nearly ran out of time on this one.  Although it didn't turn out like I had originally planned, I "think" I'm happy with it...hmmm still thinking on it.

I didn't do much coloring on this one, but what coloring I did do I used my Promarkers.  I attempted a little 3-D effect, and wrapped the twine around the spool and followed the already given sentiment.  The flowers, ribbons, beads, ric rac and lace (gathered for a ruffle effect) all came from my stash, and the paper was purchased at a thrift store.  I did use a new Martha Steward Butterfly Punch I got at a Michael's sale.

Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day and stopping by, and I hope you'll come join us this week.
